Shimadzu receives Canadian nod for Sonialvision G4

Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has received Health Canada approval for its Sonialvision G4 universal digital radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) table.

Christie InnoMed, Shimadzu's Canadian distributor, is now accepting orders for the unit, according to the vendor. G4 received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance earlier this year, and the system has also been cleared for use in Asia and the European Union.
