Carestream Health has won a contract with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for its DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray system.
DRX-Revolution can perform more than 100 x-ray imaging studies per day in emergency department trauma bays and other critical care areas, according to the firm.
In addition, specialized imaging software can create secondary images from the initial x-ray to show peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines, tracheal tubes, and other medical devices that need to be positioned, Carestream said.
