Agfa wins Canadian DR contract

Agfa HealthCare has won a contract with a Canadian hospital for its digital radiography (DR) x-ray suite.

St. Mary's Memorial Hospital in Ontario, one of Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance's sites, will use Agfa's suspended DX-D 600 DR system for a range of exams, including chest, abdomen, spine, and extremity.

To aid in the transition while the hospital completes the installation of the suite, Agfa has provided St. Mary's with a mobile DX-D 100 DR system for imaging services outside the x-ray room, according to the firm.
