Carestream rolls out Vita XE CR system

Carestream Health has launched a new tabletop computed radiography (CR) system, Vita XE CR, worldwide.

The tabletop CR device is designed to produce diagnostic-quality images at a speed of 60 or more plates per hour for smaller hospitals, imaging centers, clinics, and private practices.

Vita XE CR features long-length imaging, CD/DVD output, modality worklists, Carestream's Image Suite mini-PACS software, and a dental panoramic module.
