Philips DRF goes wireless with Eleva DRF 5.0

Philips Healthcare has incorporated a wireless portable detector in the latest release of its EasyDiagnost Eleva digital radiography and fluoroscopy (DRF) system.

EasyDiagnost Eleva DRF 5.0's new wireless portable detector can be placed in wireless trays in table or vertical stands, enabling automatic charging while in the DRF rooms, according to the vendor. The detector can also be taken out of the tray to be utilized for free or cross-table exams, Philips said.

A new detector-sharing capability allows the detector to be used in other Philips DR rooms or with the company's MobileDiagnost wDR system, Philips said.
