Quantum completes Conn. install

Radiography equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has completed an installation of its Q-Rad digital DRX series radiographic system in a Connecticut hospital, the company said.

The newly opened Pre-Admission Testing Center at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT, also installed Quantum's ceiling-mounted imaging system, which is integrated with dual DRX-1C wireless detectors and EVP+ image processing from Quantum parent company Carestream Health, according to Quantum. The system also included a Quiet-Lift elevating table with a 650-lb patient weight capacity, as well as a Verti-Q wall stand.

The sale and installation was facilitated by Quantum dealer Parker X-Ray.
