Toshiba adds systems at Tenn. hospital

Toshiba America Medical Systems has completed installation of two RadRex-i digital radiography (DR) systems at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.

The systems have been added to the hospital's emergency and radiology departments. Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, which treats more than 200,000 pediatric patients annually, recently expanded its facilities.

The RadRex-i systems are designed for high-volume use. Automated features include autotracking, autocollimation, autoprogram, and autocenter stop. RexView, a color LCD screen located on the overhead tube crane, facilitates immediate access to review images.

The systems add to Toshiba's installed base of four Kalare x-ray systems, two Infinix-i biplane vascular x-ray systems, and one Aquilion One CT scanner at the hospital.
