Radiography equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has completed an installation of its Q-Rad-Digital DRX Series radiographic system at an orthopedic center.

The installation at Champion Orthopedic in Alamogordo, NM, included Quantum's ceiling-mounted imaging system integrated with a single Carestream DRX-1 wireless detector and image processing. The system also included a Quiet-Lift elevating table with a 650-lb patient weight capacity, as well as a Verti-Q wall stand with a rotating tray feature, according to Quantum.

The sale and installation were facilitated by Medical Imaging Technologies, one of Quantum's U.S. dealers, the company said.
