Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its AeroDR wireless 17 x 17-inch flat-panel digital detector.
The AeroDR detector features Konica Minolta's cesium iodide scintillator technology, the firm said. The detector's larger imaging area is designed to enhance clinical workflow and patient care through greater versatility in positioning patients and allowing for more clinical data on each exposure.
