Agfa adds to Novation contracts

Agfa HealthCare has received a three-year contract from group purchasing organization Novation for the supply of digital radiography (DR) systems.

As a result, VHA, UHC, and Provista members will be able to select from Agfa's DX-D 500n overhead tube crane digital x-ray room, DX-D 300 digital U-arm, and DX-D 100 digital mobile x-ray system.

The contract became effective on September 1 and is the latest in a series of agreements between Agfa and Novation that extend back to 2006. Agfa also has PACS and computed radiography (CR) supply contacts with Novation.
