Toshiba nets wireless DR milestone

Toshiba America Medical Systems has installed its first T.Rad Plus x-ray system equipped with a new wireless flat-panel digital detector.

Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, PA, received the system, which now features a 14 x 17-inch wireless digital radiography (DR) panel provided by Carestream Health. Carestream will provide wireless capabilities across Toshiba's x-ray product line under a strategic business partnership, according to Toshiba.
