Digital radiography (DR) developer Vatech has installed its flat-panel detectors in the radiologic technology department at Nassau Community College in New York.

Vatech delivered two 17 x 17-inch fixed panels and a portable 10 x 12-inch flat-panel detector for extremity work. Nassau students, who have been using both computed radiography (CR) and analog x-ray machines for training, now have DR technology available as well, according to Vatech.
