Carestream nets Canadian contract

Carestream Health has installed its DirectView Classic CR system and a Carestream workstation at 18 community health centers operated by the government of the Northwest Territories in Canada.

The technology will help improve healthcare in remote communities; in the past, film images were transported hundreds of miles to Yellowknife for reading and reporting, which could result in up to two weeks for a diagnosis.
