Film digitizer vendor Vidar Systems of Herndon, VA, has named John E. Hart as president and CEO, succeeding Trevor Fennell, who is retiring.
Hart joined Vidar in April 2007 as executive vice president of marketing and sales, and was promoted to chief operating officer in November of last year.
Prior to joining Vidar, Hart served as president and CEO of NiTi Medical Technologies, a surgical products start-up company based in Netanya, Israel, and held senior management positions at Stryker of Kalamazoo, MI, and U.S. Surgical, a division of Tyco Healthcare, now Covidien of Hamilton, Bermuda.
