Philips Healthcare's Azurion image-guided therapy system has been installed at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute as part of a $120 million expansion project on the Baptist Hospital campus.
The expansion includes a state-of-the-art cath lab, representing the first North American installation of Azurion, according to Baptist Health South Florida.
Debuted last month, Azurion includes hardware and software improvements to help clinicians more efficiently perform complex interventional procedures, Philips said.
