Varex shows new flat-panel detectors at Arab Health

Varian Medical Systems spin-off Varex Imaging is presenting the sixth generation of its flat-panel digital radiography (DR) detectors at this week's Arab Health 2017 meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The firm's X platform has been enhanced with higher frame rates, improved low-dose imaging, and 16-bit data acquisition, according to the vendor. In addition, all of the company's dynamic imaging panels are available in the DX configuration, which includes the new X technology and the vendor's D-type interface, Varex said.

Varex will also highlight its replacement x-ray tubes and Claymount imaging components in its booth at Arab Health 2017, its first trade show as an independent public company.
