Samsung launches new mobile DR unit

Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new mobile digital radiography (DR) system at the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) meeting in Seoul, South Korea.

The system, GM85, features a compact design and a collapsible column that allows for easy movement of the system. It includes tools that support device positioning and alignment, image sharpness and clarity, and the reduction of scatter radiation effects, the company said.

GM85 will be available in Korea by the end of this month, according to Samsung.
