Merit posts Q3 revenue increase

Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems reported an increase in revenue for its third quarter of 2015 (end-September 30).

The company posted $136.1 million in sales for the quarter, up 6% from $128.8 million for same period in 2014. Net income was $4.8 million, compared with $7.8 million for the third quarter of 2014.

For the nine-month period, the company saw revenues of $403.7 million, up 7% from $376.9 million for the same nine-month period in 2014. Net income for the first three quarters was $17.4 million, compared with $14.3 million for the corresponding period of 2014.
