ControlRad taps new CEO

Medical device firm ControlRad Systems has named Guillaume Bailliard as CEO and a member of the board of directors.

Founding CEO Steven Nichtberger will remain chairman of the board, ControlRad said.

Bailliard started his career designing medical devices at Genzyme Surgical and then transitioned to GE Healthcare in a leadership training program. While at GE, Bailliard held various sales and management positions. He then joined Naviscan PET Systems and was later appointed president of Mauna Kea Technologies.

ControlRad develops products that reduce radiation exposure to patients and physicians during fluoroscopic produces.
