Rayence teams with InstaCover for detector insurance

Digital radiography (DR) technology developer Rayence is partnering with InstaCover for insurance coverage for its flat-panel detectors.

Under the terms of the agreement, Rayence customers can insure new Rayence DR detectors at the point of purchase or obtain coverage for their existing Rayence detectors.

The insurance plan covers a variety of physical loss or damage, including accidental drop, theft, vandalism, fire, smoke, fluid damage, power surge, and weather-related occurrences, according to Rayence.

The insurance is provided in three- or five-year term policies and allows coverage for Rayence detectors whether or not they are under warranty.
