Carestream takes order from NFL team

Carestream Health said it has taken an order for its DRX-Ascend digital radiography system from the San Diego Chargers National Football League (NFL) team.

The Chargers will use DRX-Ascend at Qualcomm Stadium during this year's NFL season.

Diagnostic imaging workstations are being installed in both home and visiting team locker rooms to allow for medical image viewing by physicians and trainers from both the Chargers and visiting teams, according to Carestream.
