Ziehm to showcase Vision RFD at AAOS 2014

C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging will show its new Ziehm Vision RFD at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) meeting this week in New Orleans.

Ziehm Vision RFD has a 20 x 20-cm flat-panel detector and a squared field-of-view that provides more information per x-ray than conventional image intensifier C-arms, the company said. It also includes Ziehm's SmartDose dose reduction features.

Ziehm is also touting Vision2 FD Vario 3D, a mobile C-arm for 2D and 3D imaging. It features digital flat-panel technology for orthopedics, spine surgery, and trauma interventions.
