Ziehm gets FDA nod for C-arm

C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance to market a new surgical C-arm.

Ziehm received clearance for its Vision RFD C-arm for pediatric and other interventional operating room procedures. The product offers motorized movement on four axes, Ziehm said. It was cleared for a full range of procedures, including specific intended uses in pediatric imaging.
