DMS gets FDA nod for R/F table

French medical imaging developer Diagnostic Medical Systems (DMS) has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its Platinum remote-controlled radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) radiology table.

Platinum can perform all radiography and fluoroscopy applications and features a 43 x 43-cm dynamic panel, according to the vendor. It has a source-to-image distance of 180 cm, and the table can be lowered to 48 cm, DMS said.

DMS will market Platinum in the U.S. via its two distributors, Viztek and Eastern Diagnostic Imaging.
