Rotary launches online library for building x-ray facilities

The Rotary Club of Park Ridge, IL, has launched a free online library with information about building medical radiology facilities in clinics and small hospitals in developing nations.

The digital World Health Imaging System for Radiology (WHIS-RAD) library is based on experiences of designing, equipping, and installing x-ray rooms in Africa, Central Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. It includes information on funding and program development, technical expertise, room and electrical requirements, equipment, training, and implementation, according to the Rotary Club.
