Konica Minolta completes Tenn. contract

Konica Minolta Medical Imaging has completed a contract for Sweetwater Community Hospital in Tennessee to convert its x-ray department to digital radiography (DR) with Konica Minolta's wireless AeroDR panel.

The installation includes four AeroDR panels: Two panels will replace existing Xpress CR systems, while the other two panels will be retrofitted to the hospital's portable x-ray units, the firm said.

Konica Minolta partnered with digital imaging equipment distributor Blue Ridge X-Ray to obtain the contract with Sweetwater. The 59-bed hospital currently has three x-ray rooms, and a fourth room is under construction
