Carestream lands new Premier contract

Carestream Health has signed a new three-year digital radiography (DR) supply contract with group purchasing organization Premier Healthcare.

Premier members have been able to purchase Carestream's DRX-1 system since it was added to Premier's Technology Breakthroughs program in 2010. Under the new deal that takes effect on October 1, Premier members will be able to purchase Carestream's family of DRX systems as well as the company's dental digital radiography systems.

The deal includes the following radiology systems: DRX-Revolution, DRX-1, DRX-Mobile retrofit kit, DRX-Evolution, and DRX-Ascend.
