IDSI says Hansen to retire as CEO

CT laser mammography (CTLM) system developer Imaging Diagnostic Systems (IDSI) of Plantation, FL, has reported that CEO Tim Hansen will be retiring.

He will relinquish his post on January 1, 2008 after serving as the company's chief executive since 2004. Before coming to IDSI, Hansen was president of Picker International.

Hansen will continue on a consulting basis for a limited time, according to IDSI. Taking over his responsibilities during the transition period will be Allan Schwartz, executive vice president and CFO; Deborah O'Brien, senior vice president; and co-chairman Patrick Gorman will work together during the transition process.
