Delphinus taps new VP of engineering

Tomographic ultrasound technology developer Delphinus Medical Technologies has hired Bruno Dacquay as vice president of engineering.

Dacquay comes to Delphinus after spending nearly three decades at the Alcon vision of Novartis, where he most recently was vice president and franchise head for surgical R&D, as well as vice president of surgical instrumentation R&D. In his new role, Dacquay will guide all aspects of the company's technology and product development, according to Delphinus.

Delphinus is currently conducting a large clinical study to obtain a supplemental screening indication for its SoftVue whole-breast ultrasound system.
