AccuBoost adds Ariz. client

Women's health firm AccuBoost said it has signed a deal to install its partial-breast brachytherapy technology at Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear, AZ.

The facility is the third hospital operated by Cancer Treatment Centers of America to install the technology, AccuBoost said.

The mammography-guided noninvasive brachytherapy device is used to treat early-stage breast cancer patients. It may be used to boost therapy to the tumor bed or as a monotherapy for accelerated partial-breast irradiation, the company said.
