GE sells SenoBright to NJ hospital

Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, has installed SenoBright contrast-enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) technology from GE Healthcare. It is the first center in the region to offer the advanced breast cancer imaging tool, GE said.

SenoBright enables physicians to perform additional tests on the same Senographe mammography system, view the results in a familiar format, and diagnose with images that mimic those of standard mammography, according to GE.

SenoBright will reduce the burden of uncertainty in diagnosis and improve patient care, productivity, and patient access at the center, the hospital's Cooper Cancer Institute.
