RCT issues license to GE

Patent management firm Research Corporation Technologies (RCT) has granted GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., a nonexclusive license to its ultrasound tissue harmonic imaging (THI) technology patents.

RCT has also licensed its THI patents to Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, and Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA. The Tucson, AZ-based firm said it continues its efforts to broadly license the technology to the ultrasound industry.
