Zonare doubles U.S. sales

Ultrasound vendor Zonare Medical Systems said it doubled the number of U.S. installations of its z.one scanner in the first six months of 2006.

After installing its 100th system in December, Zonare has now installed over 300 systems worldwide, including more than 40 placed in the Chicago area, according to the Mountain View, CA-based vendor.
