Civco introduces intracranial transducer cover

Ultrasound and radiotherapy vendor Civco Medical Solutions has introduced its CIV-Flex pyrogen-free ultrasound transducer cover for use in intracranial procedures.

The cover is recommended for use with SonoSite's C11 transducer and other small-footprint transducers, according to the Kalona, IA-based firm. The cover provides a sterile, pyrogen-free barrier for intracranial procedures, as recommended by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance protocols, CIVCO said.
