An anonymous donor has pledged $10 million in unrestricted funds to support the Focused Ultrasound Foundation.
The foundation said the pledge, which will be matched 1:1 by 2022, will allow it to continue funding research in a number of critical areas, including brain disorders (such as glioblastoma, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, epilepsy, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression), cancer immunotherapy, pancreatic cancer, pediatric disorders, and veterinary indications.
The foundation's current annual budget is approximately $10 million.
