Mindray Medical International subsidiary Mindray North America is installing 25 of its DC-8 Exp ultrasound systems at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.
Oregon Tech said it is one of the few institutions in the U.S. to offer a four-year ultrasound degree program. The new ultrasound systems will allow it to update its training and education capabilities, according to the polytechnic institute.
The machines will be installed this month, and students will begin using them in the fall.
