Health Canada approves Carestream ultrasound systems

Carestream Health has received a Health Canada license for its Carestream Touch Prime and Touch Prime XE ultrasound systems.

The company's Touch platform features an all-touch user interface, with a glass console that is easy to clean, the company said. It also includes wireless connectivity for rapid transfer of images and data to PACS and RIS, and the systems can be outfitted with specialized transducers for radiology, ob/gyn, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging, according to Carestream.
