Mindray, Zonare integrate ultrasound sales teams

Medical equipment manufacturer Mindray Medical International and ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems have combined their sales and clinical ultrasound sales teams throughout North America, effective February 1.

The new group will offer Mindray's TE-7, M-7, DC-8, and M-9 ultrasound systems, as well as Zonare's Z.One Pro and ZS3 platforms, the two firms said.

Zonare's president, Glen McLaughlin, PhD, will take on the additional role of executive vice president for Mindray North America ultrasound. Mindray acquired Zonare in June 2013.
