PACS technology provider AMD Global Telemedicine has announced technology for live streaming ultrasound for telemedicine applications.
Called Agnes Interactive, the software is the result of a collaboration between Interson and AMD to enable real-time ultrasound video. When viewed through Agnes Interactive, a USB-connected ultrasound probe displays images and eliminates the need for a separate ultrasound machine or viewing software, AMD said.
AMD will demonstrate the live streaming ultrasound integration within Agnes Interactive at the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Fall Forum, being held September 7-9 in Palm Desert, CA.
