Zonare signs Schoelgens

Ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems has appointed Cornel Schoelgens as managing director Europe.

Schoelgens comes to Zonare with more than 20 years of diagnostic imaging experience, and will be responsible for expanding the firm's Zone Sonography technology throughout Europe, according to the Mountain View, CA-based firm. He most recently served as managing director for SonoSite in Germany, and has also held positions with GE Healthcare and Acuson.
