Toshiba signs OSF HealthCare

Toshiba Medical has delivered an Aplio i800 ultrasound scanner to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, part of OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL.

The institution will use the system for general pediatric imaging, as well as in the neonatal intensive care unit at OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois. It is also exploring new clinical applications for pediatric imaging, including more musculoskeletal imaging, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and liver elastography exams, according to the firm.
