Konica Minolta brings ultrasound to physiatrists

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas will sponsor educational ultrasound workshops for physiatrists in physical medicine and rehabilitation at this week's American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation annual meeting in Denver.

The company's forums will focus on implementing ultrasound within physiatrist practices, using ultrasound to guide shoulder injections, and the modality's benefit for partial tears of the biceps tendon. In addition, workshops will offer information on imaging and ultrasound-guided chemodenervation, as well as hands-on and interactive learning experiences.

Konica Minolta also plans to show its Sonimage HS1 compact ultrasound system with musculoskeletal functionality for enhanced detail and contrast resolution, as well as the new portable J5 ultrasound system.
