Rivanna gets Middle East distribution deals

Ultrasound technology developer Rivanna Medical has begun distributing its Accuro ultrasound device for 3D navigation guidance in the Middle East.

The company has established distribution partnerships for the device with Techno Orbits in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and with Atlas Medical in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, according to the firm.

Accuro is a handheld, smartphone-sized device that can administer spinal and epidural anesthesia with automated 3D navigation of the lumbar spine, the company said.
