Focused Ultrasound Foundation chair joins NCI panel

Focused Ultrasound Foundation chairman Dr. Neal Kassell has been tapped to join the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) Blue Ribbon Panel for Vice President Joe Biden's National Cancer Moonshot initiative.

Kassell, who is also a distinguished professor of neurosurgery at the University of Virginia, will be part of a group of 28 science and medicine luminaries who are tasked with helping NCI inform the scientific direction and goals of the initiative, according to the Focused Ultrasound Foundation.
