Toshiba installs 10 ultrasound units in Ohio

Toshiba America Medical Systems has installed 10 Aplio 500 ultrasound systems at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

The center is deploying the scanners for general radiology exams and outpatient services, Toshiba said. Aplio 500 offers Fly Thru 4D advanced visualization technology, which Cincinnati Children's is exploring for use in viewing pediatric spines, newborn brains, and the bladder.
