Mindray changes executive team

Medical equipment manufacturer Mindray Medical International has made changes to its executive management team.

The firm has tapped current chief strategic officer Cheng Minghe to be co-CEO. He will continue to maintain his role as chief strategic officer.

Meanwhile, Li Xiting, Mindray's president and CEO, will now be president and co-CEO and will remain the company's director of the board.

Cheng will assist Li in executing the company's strategies and overseeing its operations. As a co-founder of Mindray, Cheng has served in various roles across sales, marketing, and strategic development since the company was established in 1991.

In other news, the company appointed Wang Jianxin to be chief administrative officer and May Li to be chief investment officer.

All appointments will take effect immediately.
