Nuance ships version 3.0 of PowerScribe 360

Nuance Communications has begun shipping its 3.0 version of PowerScribe 360, a radiology reporting and communication platform.

The package features Nuance PowerShare Network's cloud technology, which updates clinical guidelines from the American College of Radiology (ACR) so that radiologists have access to decision support when they are writing reports. It includes streamlined longitudinal viewing, improved access to prior studies, and updated report comparisons, as well as Nuance's Dragon Medical speech recognition engine, the company said.

PowerScribe 360 was initially tested at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, as well as at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai Roosevelt in New York City.
