Lexmark to debut new branding at HIMSS 2015

Printing firm and software developer Lexmark International will debut its new corporate branding, Lexmark Healthcare, at next week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems annual meeting (HIMSS 2015) in Chicago.

The new initiative comes after a string of Lexmark acquisitions over the past several years, including Perceptive Software, Acuo Technologies, PACSGear, and Claron Technology. The products that carried those names will be replaced by the Lexmark Healthcare brand.

At HIMSS 2015, Lexmark Healthcare plans to showcase healthcare content management, including the following:

  • A vendor-neutral archive (VNA) for standards-based access to medical images and clinical content across the enterprise
  • Document management to capture and integrate business and clinical documents and forms to enhance workflow
  • Enterprise viewing of medical images and clinical content across all devices in the care continuum
  • Enterprise image connectivity to share clinical documents, photos, and video with an electronic medical record and mobile devices
  • Open image exchange for the secure, cloud-based sharing and exchange of medical images and documents between healthcare delivery organizations through the use of standards-based technology
  • Managed print services for a best-practices approach to print output management in the healthcare enterprise.
