Calgary partners with Aqumin on software

Calgary Scientific has partnered with Aqumin, a Houston-based company that creates interactive 3D visual interpretation software for pattern recognition and data analysis.

Calgary Scientific has adapted its PureWeb platform to enable access to Aqumin's AlphaVision data analysis software on any Web or mobile device without rewriting code. Companies can use the tool for data analysis in financial markets, process and control monitoring, or industries dealing with any form of big data.

Aqumin's software was created to interpret massive datasets visually so users can spot relational patterns more quickly. PureWeb uses cloud or centralized servers to take advantage of cost efficiencies and enhanced data security, Aqumin said.

The joint software can be run in any onsite environment or private and public cloud such as Amazon Web Services.
