Nuance wins Veterans Affairs contract

Nuance Communications said the U.S. Veterans Health Administration will implement Dragon Medical 360 Direct, the firm's cloud-based medical speech recognition system.

The administration plans to deploy Dragon Medical 360 Direct across the entire health system, Nuance said. Dragon Medical 360 Direct will allow clinicians to dictate seamlessly within the organization's electronic health record (EHR) system from the office, hospital, or other locations.
